Code of Conduct

Medicare NetworkThe code of conduct helps us to fulfil our commitment to comply with all applicable legal requirements and set high ethical standards wherever we operate. It defines what Medicare Network expects from its business and people, provides guidance in key areas and reference to more detailed standards, instructions and information.

The code of conduct summarises Medicare Network’s standards for employee conduct, helping us act consistently with business values. In future years, Medicare Network managers will be asked to certify their compliance with the code of conduct as part of the annual certification process.

The code of conduct covers four areas:

health, security, safety and the environment – including basic health, safety and environmental expectations along with some fundamental rules

Medicare Network employees – covering fair treatment and equal opportunity, providing guidance for dealing with cases of harassment or abuse
Medicare Network business partners – providing detailed guidance on the giving and receiving of gifts and entertainment, conflicts of interest, competition, trade restrictions and working with suppliers
Medicare Network company assets and financial integrity – containing guidance about the use of company property, proprietary information, intellectual property, insider trading and data
